Liebherr delivers 100th LTM 1750-9.1

Liebherr achieved the milestone of 100 units of the 750-tonne LTM 1750-9.1 mobile crane. The 100th crane of this type left the plant in Ehingen in July this year. The new crane was handed over by Liebherr?s Belgian dealer Van Der Spek to crane contractor Dufour Transports et Manutention SA based in Marquain, Belgium.

Liebherr Cranes for Ejar

Ejar strengthens its crane fleet with Liebherr mobile and crawler cranes.Crane rental company Ejar Cranes & Equipment LLC from the UAE has strengthened its crane fleet during 2012 with a total of eight crawler cranes from the Liebherr plant in Nenzing, two LR 1300 and six LR 1280, and two LTM 1130-5.1 mobile cranes from the Liebherr plant in Ehingen. A large order for mainly all-terrain cranes was also placed for delivery in 2013.

Liebherr tests new PowerBoom

The Power Boom

Since the middle of September, a lattice boom crane has been towering 150 m above the ground at the Liebherr factory site in Ehingen, Germany in a form that has never been seen before. At the lower part of the crane, the lattice sections are assembled parallel to each other; at the top, the double boom has been joined together to form a single boom.
